Read any criterion in a Capella scoring guide side by side and the pattern repeats. The middle column describes something being done adequately. The top column adds a verb — evaluates, synthesises, justifies — and a standard, usually about currency or specificity of evidence. It is not asking for more words. It is asking for a different intellectual operation.
Which is good news, because it makes the gap addressable. A paragraph that summarises three sources accurately can be turned into one that weighs them against each other in about twenty minutes, once somebody has shown you what the difference looks like on your own page rather than in the abstract. Most of the coaching here is exactly that, repeated until you start hearing the verb yourself.

MSN and DNP students run into obligations that contain no writing whatsoever. Somewhere has to agree to host you. Two institutions have to countersign the same document. Hours accumulate and must be recorded as they go. An evaluation has to be completed by a clinician with a full patient list of their own. That strand is held by different people on a different track and priced on its own, and plenty of Capella students want nothing else from us.
Doctoral projects also meet a review board, which is a different discipline again. The submission is built inside whichever forms your board is using this year, not a generic shell, and any letter that comes back is answered remark by remark in the sequence the reviewers wrote them. Nobody credible will guarantee the outcome: the board is independent and reaches its own view.

Look at what you have already submitted. If your returned attempts sit at the middle column with comments about depth rather than accuracy, the gap is technique and it closes quickly. If they are coming back on basics — evidence missing, criteria unanswered — that is a different and slower problem. It can, and the failure mode is specific: submitting before the evidence is gathered, then spending two revision cycles on something that could have been right once. Speed in this format comes from sequencing rather than hurrying — knowing which assessments need source-gathering first so nothing waits on nothing. Done properly a faster session and a better session are the same session.
In a scheduled course a poor result is absorbed into an average. Here it costs a revision cycle, which costs days of a window you are paying for. That is why returned work goes ahead of new work without exception, and why the plan builds in room for one return per assessment rather than assuming everything passes first time.
Yes, and they are deliberately kept on separate tracks with separate people. Doctoral projects move in long arcs and coursework moves in weeks; letting one person hold both means the arc always loses. The capstone strand is quoted on its own, and a fair number of Capella students take only that.
